Full-time opportunities exist for dynamic and enthusiastic people to join our growing national traction team to carry out the installation maintenance and repair of overhead traction power equipment and report on performance and condition of the traction power system to ensure its safe and effective operation.
Ideal candidates will have worked in a team environment delivering Overhead Wiring related work within the Rail Industry preferably with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role. You will be an individual who can be trusted to work safely and ensures that the safety of your team mates is the highest priority.
You will be rewarded with working on the most challenging projects and working with your OHW team to successfully deliver major projects and critical maintenance activities on Electrified Networks in Perth, Sydney and across Australia.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the on-site supervision of the Overhead Wiring Traction teams, external plant and sub-contractors.
- Develop effective relationships with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Deliver quality projects on time, on budget and to client quality expectation.
- Responsible for the maintenance of project and site-specific documentation on site.
- Ensure compliance with relevant OH&S, rail safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and foster a culture of OH&S and rail safety on the worksite.
- Provide reporting in line with RSA and client reporting requirements.
About you
- Sound knowledge of all types of overhead traction power equipment and their relevant maintenance and installation standards
- Sound level of skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead rail traction power systems
- Sound knowledge of high voltage Safeworking practices and procedures
- Sound knowledge of the WH&S Act and relevant rail safety policies and procedures
- Sound interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Experience in leading a team
- Willingness to commit to and work within RSA values and behaviours
